Usually this phenomenon is typical for northern countries, but this time it became visible in Ukraine due to a powerful geomagnetic storm caused by a coronal mass ejection on the Sun on April 21.
The Ukrainian educational project about space Alpha Centauri explains that a severe geomagnetic storm G4 (Kp=8) is currently operating over the Earth.
